looking great Sarah!
*Summer Shape-up Challenge 2009 Contest Winner*
The pictures don't even do justice to what a great transformation you made... wha aare now, down 40lbs and 5 inches off the waist?
Anyway - a HUGE thank you for taking charge of this contest, and working to inspire us!
Sarah - great goal, and good luck!
Cathy - keep up the great work you already started! Good luck this round too!
I'll be playing from the sidelines on this one... I just have way too much on my plate right now with trying to find a house, getting rid of mine, and hopefully moving before December... big time stress.
Good luck everyone, and thanks again Jay for volunteering to take charge here!
Hey thanks Aaron and Scott! Yeah went from 255 to 215ish...39" to 34" waist. It doesn't show as much when you have that much blubber to lose! Anyway my plan is to work on putting on some strength/mass over the next few months and diet a few pounds more off, then go in 4-6 month cycles of gaining mass/losing fat phases...2 steps forward, one step back.
What r u up to lately Scott? How's the training going and what are your current goals?
Everything good here man. Still training DC, just haven't wrote in my journal, damn computer went out. My good friend is building one for me should be ready in a week! I've been posting at work and don't have the journal with me, making some crazy strength gains. Goals, get big as a house and stay as lean as possible. lol Get my legs to catch up, etc. I have absolutely no desire to compete though people at my gym keep telling me to, including a couple top amateurs which I take as a big compliment, but like I said no desire whatsoever. Anyways, how's your diet going? What does it look like?
Well I'll be overeating for the next 3 months, like I said gaining up to 10lbs in the next few months. Keeping the protein high, carbs moderate but timed (most of them morning and post-workout). Oats and raisins for breakfast, protein with almonds, eggs and fish oil during the day and more carbs with whey and potatoes/bananas/juice PWO. We'll see how things go...one thing dieting gave me was the perspective of what my current goals are. Since I had no interest in competing, I allowed myself to gain too much fat for too long and being afraid to diet for fear of missing out on gains, but after doing things right I learned I can lose fat without losing muscle and get back to hitting PR's after leaning out a bit![]()
Geeez... get a room guys!
