I have needed a new pair of casual/dress shoes ever since I lost all that weight. Believe it or not, my shoe size went down. I have put it off long enough. I'm looking for a pair of shoes that I can wear with a nice outfit to something like a play, but able to get away with wearing to a wedding in a suit as well. I've found some that I like but I'm having problems choosing a pair. I'm linking them in the order that I like them starting with the ones I like the most. Let me know what you think or if you have other suggestions let me know. You can see the style I like by the way they are all similar.

This sounds like something meant for Seth to answer...
I think he brought 7 pairs of shoes for the 3 days he was at my place. ;)

I thik you should go dressier if they are dress shoes per se.

I'd vote for the Kenneth Cole shoes, if they didn't use the term "sneakers", they ain't "tennis shoes" either.
I personally use my Vision Street Wear skate shoes when dressing up, seam ripper to the label, they are plain black shoes. I try to deemphasize my feet.

Those are nice shoes, but a little dressier than what I am looking for. I have a pair of shoes like that and they are uncomfortable as hell. I break them out for funerals and such.

+1 to Jody's recommendation

You gotta come correct with your shoes...it is the first thing people notice...you can find similar shoes for cheaper if you are on a budget, but if not I'd get a pair of brown and a pair of black shoes just like that.

"...it is the first thing people notice..."
Funny... I rarely notice people's shoes... unless they are wearing Uggs. Then I want to smack them.
I notice their watch...

Shoes are the very first thing I look at. Okay, okay boobs.... then shoes. Seriously, though, I think that shoes say a lot about a person. They don't have to be high-end or flashy, but appropriate for the setting and well maintained.

Jason, for casual but not too much flash and easy on the wallet check out Kenneth Cole, Steve Madden, Stacy Adams, or Claiborne. You can find something decent for less than $100 in any of those brands. As far as the styles you picked out, I'm not a big fan, but that's just me.
