Prayer request

My mom is in the hospital, went in this morning. My dad found her unresponsive. Went in at 6am and having trouble to get her awake, at this point shes somewhat awake, not by much. theyre keeping atleast 24 hours in intensive care unit. im currently at work, 35 minutes away. nobody can (or will) fill in. (my coworkers are a different story :grumpy: :angry: )

Jess, your mom and your entire family are in my prayers. Is there any update on her condition? Do they know what caused her to be unresponsive? Stay strong!

she started to improve about 24 hours after she went to the hospital. they kept her 2 nights for observation. hopefully shes comes home today. the dr has a hard time coming to the room when scheduled. shows up 4 hours later.


nihki : they said that she overdosed on morphine. she takes different meds for for different problems. 1 for mygraines, 1 for her back, 1 for her legs. all containing morphine. i know the day before she went in, she complained of a mygraine. she was driving home. she musta had ice cream for dinner, went to bed about 815. my dad got up ar 330 with a charliehorse. the dr said if he would have waited another 45 min, she would have died. her body was deprived of oxygen because she was face down when my dad found her.
