Y'all know I've been having a pretty rough weak with the wreck and falsified police reports and such.

Well this morning my uncle finally lost his battle to cancer. I had 2 uncles who were both battling it at the same time (well actually 3, but Billy is still alive and well thank the good lord). After having lost over twice his bodyweight (my uncle was a very large man, standing maybe 6'4"-6'5 and weighing over 280lbs, and he had dropped down to under 95lbs), while I'm sad to see him go, I know that he's better off now. You could tell by looking at him that he was suffering. The last time I saw him was a couple months ago, when my grandma made me go into his room to say hi. He was staying with my grandma so that he'd have care with him 24/7. After I saw him lying there, basically bones covered up by skin, I told my grandma I would never go in there again. And I didn't (reminded me too much of my grandma smith when she was dying when I was 5 years old). So anywayz, now that this was so long winded, I just wanted to say, God Rest his Soul.

OMG I am so sorry to hear about that. I will definately keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I know how hard it is to lose someone to cancer. I lost my grandmother to cancer. Sorry to hear about this AJ. I lost my grandmother and my great uncle to cancer. Don't know which is the harder part: seeing them in such a weak state, or seeing them go.

Update...........

Visitation was yesterday and funeral today. They did the whole military thing with the firing of the guns and the whole shebang. It was really nice, they folded up the flag that was lying over his casket and handed it to my aunt and she broke down. Really tough seein him like that, but I'm ok. :) It was very beautiful and he's not hurting anymore.
