I liked Knight Rider but I was disappointed to find out it was going to be a movie and not a series honestly, and yeah changing it to a Mustang sucked.

They only reason they went with a Mustang is so they could get paid by Ford for using it. A newer WS6 Trans-Am would have be sweet, but they're not in production anymore, and the new Camaro isn't out yet.

They used the new Camaro in the Transformers movie. I think that Ford just got a jump on this. At least it's a Cobra...

Saleen actually took Pontiac GTO base, and just made a fiberglass mold of the Camaro concept to put over it. All the interior trimmings were also made from scratch out of fiberglass, even the wheels and brake rotors are fiberglass copies mounted on steel wheels.

That's interesting, I didn't know that. They should have used a new Corvette with this Kitt. They would at least be sticking to GM and the front end sort of looks like the original.

i never watched the series, but i want to see the movie. i haven't seen it on myspace, but they had it on a local news station.

It wasn't that bad actually... The kid is the "long lost son" of Michael Knight...
Looks like they are going to make it a series - at least based on the ending of the movie.

The acting was a little sappy but the car and action was bad ass. I would watch the series when it comes out. It looks no worse than the original.

Check out the poster for the new one...they actually were going with the first car I posted. I guess Ford struck a deal with them because all the freakn' new cars are Fords.
