For those of you who are still at least interested in the cloverfield project, check out this link:

It has some stuff that noone picks up from the first one.
Like, at the end when the video tape clicks back to coney island, that they recorded over, you see something fall into the ocean in the backdrop behind the ferris wheel. Hmmmmm.

Also, at the very end of the credits, you hear "Help us." being whispered. If you reverse that, you get, "It's still alive."


Check the link. It's at least interesting to myself.

j.j was on Opie and Anthony and had mentioned that there is talk of another project. Similar to the first, just from a different viewpoint

I heard about this as well. Though i'm not sure whether its the exact same time just taped by a different person, or if its a different time entirely.

Tim nailed it. It's going to be a second viewpoint of the exact same events. He's stressing the popularity of people to film themselves in todays culture. I mean, look at youtube, and all the camera phone videos, home videos.

It's so popular now that it'd safe to say SOMEONE was filming the events as well. But yeah, the backdrop plummet into the ocean was a Satellite. It was during the recovery of the satellite that the beast was woken up. The director claims it's just a baby too. Eep. An irritable baby beast.

Personally, I think that saying that is a mistake.

makes the little Zergling thingies tougher to explain. Although it does explain why it was so resistant to damage.

could be parasites that it has. or they are reproductive right off the bat..

I was in love with the viral marketing leading up to this movie. Does anyone know if they posted another one of those japanese comics yet? They're suppose to be a series of 4... it's kind of like the prequel

As much as I hated it. I'll be returning for cloverfield 2.
