Or Attitude of Gratitude thread....

Reading Bev's reply to the devotional today I thought it'd be cool to have a thread about all the awesome things God has done/provided for you based on recent prayer requests.

I've been praying for Him to put godly women in my path as mentors for my development and to help Him bring me to the next level. This year is already one of preparation and learning, and I really want to associate with women who can mentor me.

Sunday at church God put one of those women in my path by way of a small group I'm going to join. Not only am I excited to join the group, but she's a professional speaker as well!! Wow! Since that's what I want to grow up to be, it's so awesome to be doubly blessed!

That's great Amy! We all need our mentors. I need to find some....it seems that most of the people in my church are younger. I miss my parents church where there were plenty of "old timers" that were there for mentor and help correct the mistakes of the younger leaders and congregation members.

You are so right! All generations are very necessary for a thriving church. I'm sure yours will attract more in time to come.

Great Thread!

For protecting me during my leg workout yesterday.

For opening my eyes to a particular way I was handling a situation with my son.

For softening my heart to let others in. (This has been a big one for me lately).

I thank God I have a job that pays my bills, I hate the job, hate the hours, BUT decent paying jobs in my area are next to impossible to get, so even though I hate it, I still thank God for it!

I'm givin up the glory to God for helping me through a difficult training I facilitated today. Though I have some changes to make, He helped me focus on everyone else and the program and take my eyes off myself. (I've been working on pride being an issue I'm overcoming)

Now, I only have 6 more to go this week!
