OK, so I was finally able to get it to take on Google..

I made it so that it is not a public video, although anyone can get to it. I don't care who watches it, just don't spread this link out to the world and its lifespan will be longer.

I will leave it up as long as possible, but you never know when they will take it down.

I encourage everyone to watch it. It changed my life in more wans than I can count.

My .02: Beware!

Although I am the first to admit there are some good concepts and "thought strategies" in The Secret, when taken too literally, it is a bunch of hogwash!

The Secret, as I understood it when I listened to the CD is simple: "Do what makes you happy and you will be happy" and "Think and be positive and positive things will happen to you, think negative and negative things will happen to you" ... and there are no exceptions to the rule. Not really much of a secret.

Skip to near the end, when he says.. paraphrasing here..

If you feel like this isn't for you, then it isn't.. Move on & forget about it.

It's as simple as that.

All I know is it's gotten me out from under 225k of debt with no repercussions, I was able to escape Ohio for a much better place, I no longer have a car payment (and I have 2 reliable vehicles) and I almost never balance my checkbook because my income has skyroketed (for me anyway) to the poiont where I don't have to.

I'm not rolling in dough, I don't live in a mansion, and I still have to work for a living. but I know that's only temporary. It doesn't happen overnight, and you're not likely to win the lottery your first week. THe "Secret" is believing that it is true and being grateful for that fact.

I haven't 'recieved' everything I'ev asked for, but I've recieved a lot MORE than I ever expected.

If that's what brings your 'vibration' up to where you feel really good all the time, then yes :)

Yeah man, I'm not trying to bash you or anything. I just don't agree with some of the ideals the Secret presents. However, from a financial perspective, I really think the secret can be a valuable tool!

Yep! Exactly.

Or drugs or alcohol.... whatever makes you tick.

Sorry man, being a little sarcastic. But the secret has no moral rules; which is my main issue with it.

It's called Free will. :)

What makes you happy might not make me happy.. Although I highly doubt that someone who is using drugs to be 'happy' will have much success, since there's no action being taken.

It's not just wishful thinking, ya know :)

I read and watched the secret, however i am religious and i just finished "There is more to the Secret" by ED GUNGOR.....

it applies certain points of "the secret" as far as law of attraction but not for greed and selfish gains, like wishing for a porche and expecting one to pop up......
