I just picked this book up today at Barnes and Noble. I think it will be good. She has a column in Oxygen magazine. Anyone read this book?

Also, Barnes and Noble...where did that store get that name? Were they just two dudes who started a bookstore?

Charles Barnes, his son, and Clifford Noble started it.

She has a cook book out too! I saw that today as well, but could only afford the one book for now. Oh and one on training/figure etc with a complimentary DVD. I think they all came out around Feb. 2007.

I heard that the "Eat Clean Diet" book was a disappointment for people who are more smarter than the average bear in fitness and nutrition, but that there was some okay information in there. As far as the second (cookbook), I read that, although the recipes are clean, are relatively high in fat. I'm torn. I think that I'm just gonna get Kit's book.

Here's my beef, even with Oxygen magazine: I always seem to think that these people play off of others' weaknesses. While they do have some articles that are educational, every other page is an advertisement for a fat burner or a crap supplement (yeah, I understand that it's a business). I think that men get better magazines, as far as training and exercises and (some) nutrition is concerned.

Very good points. Yes, if you do have basic knowledge of "clean eating" it may be a waste of money for some. I like the 2 sample weeks she has in there. I found that to be helpful as to how to guide myself in creating my eating plan. Over all I am pleased with the book.

By far, get KitKat's receipe book. I love it and am trying the Mango/Peach Salsa tomorrow. Great stuff in there and she provides the breakdowns for everything. Also, the cost goes toward such a worthy cause.

Thanks for your feedback on the book Tiffers!:)

Ok, so I will share my personal opinion being that I love recipes and I am always looking for ways to keep my clean eating interesting. I got the book and in all honesty, was not impressed. The recipes are not great IMO of course. Maybe a few here and there. I would much rather tell someone to get the body for life cookbook rather than the book mentioned. I also checked the cookbook, glanced through it and again was not impressed.

I did get the John Berardi book and now that book, I would recommend. Easy, quick, and delicious recipes.

I just made some chicken strips and they are very good. I will post later.
