This is an interesting read. I was surprised to find that Austin is tied for 18th place. If I am not mistaken a couple of years ago they were one of the fittest cities.

Yeah! Detroit is number 5! Rock on. Not only the most dangerous city in the US, but the 5th fattest! We do it right here in Michigan.

I think it would be a good idea for candidates to tackle obesity as a political issue. I think it's unbelievable how fat our country is.

I would like to see a Civil War II where it is the obese vs. the ripped.

Aaron, if you click on the most murderous cities, Detroit is number one. Another great honor for the great state of Michigan :)

mayhaps we should elect Big Ron president, that could solve alot of problems.

I don't blame you, I'm not an Austin fan either. I'm just near here for my job. I moved south of Austin so I don't have to claim it, lol.

I think the problems with Austin and Vegas are the fact that they are the fastest growing cities in America. So that means stress, traffic, and crowds where ever you go. I am thankful enough to work at night so I don't have a lot of these problems.

Wow, I was really suprised to see San Diego listed. The weather is beautiful 98% of the year, there is NO REASON as to why they shouldn't get their fitness on.
